God, I can’t hear you. There are too many other voices. Please, God, be louder than the world who says I ought to, the friend who asks why don’t I. Be louder than the family who confuses, the coworker who criticizes, the sister who confronts, the brother who condemns. And God, please be louder than the enemy who says I’ll never, the Me who agrees. God, You are the only good I know. You are the only truth I know. You are the only. The one and only. Yours is the only voice I want to hear. Please, Father God. Be louder than, I pray.
